What teams are for

Teams group people for operations (case assignment, SLAs, collaboration). They do not replace the RBAC permission matrix — permissions live under Roles.

Create a team

Open Teams and Roles

Go to https://app.gu1.ai/teams.

Create Team

Use Create Team (or the team admin modal).

Details

Name, description, and type/color options if shown.

Members

Add organization members. In-team roles (e.g. team admin/member/viewer) are separate from org RBAC roles.

Save

Confirm creation.

Configure an existing team

  1. From /teams, open the team or go to /teams/{teamId}/settings.
  2. Adjust name, assignment rules, schedules, SLAs, and membership as exposed in Team settings.

Removing someone from every team does not revoke organization access. Deactivate / remove membership from the profile on /teams.
